Vocational Skills For Women
We believe that women are also a useful human being, if they are provided equal opportunities to get education and skills. The management of organization arranged to provide skill training to women, so that they could become a helping and earning hand for the family. We are sure that our efforts will help them to gain respect and honor in the family as well as in the society. We think that a skillful person will always remain economically stable and lead a trouble free life. Keeping in sight the importance and significance of Skill Training, our Vocational Training Centre is providing skills of Stitching of cloths, gloves, Sewing, Cutting, Needle Work, Embroidery, Making Sofa Backs, Bed Sheets, Block Printing, & Knitting.
The Women Development & Vocational Training Centre is equipped with latest machines, i.e. sewing, and embroidery machines. It is also a credit for the organization who has hired qualified and well experienced staff to teach and instruct, which is a blessing for the center and students is as well.
Mother and Child Health Care
We Are Very Much Concerned For The Proper Health Care Of Community Members Especially Women And Children Who Are Facing Most Of The Difficulties. Proper Health Care Facilities Is A Huge Problem, There Are Health Units, But They Are Under Staffed And Lack Of Medical Equipment And Shortage Of Doctors Has Further Made The Lives Of The Patients Miserable.
We Believes That It Is The Basic Right Of All The Citizens Of Pakistan To Get Proper Health Care Facilities, But Limited Resources Available With The Government, Convinced And Motivated Private Sector / Civil Society Organizations To Assist People To Get Treatment Of Various Diseases. With The Help And Guidance Of Our Executive Members And Support Of Gracious Donors We Are Providing Health Care Facilities To Poor And Needy Families For Which We Own Quality Ultra Sound Machine And Likely Other Equipment.
Facilitation In Dowry
One of the worst evils of our society is the dowry system. It is a custom which is prevalent in all the sections of our society in one form or the other. At the beginning it was voluntary, but later on the social pressure was such that very few could escape from it.
The dowry at present is a source of both joy and curse in the society. It is also a joy to the husband and his relatives who get cash, costly dress and utensils, furniture, bedding materials etc. But it is a curse to the bride’s parents who have to bear enormous cost to satisfy the unreasonable demands of the bridegroom’s party. A demand of dowry does not diminish even after marriage. The in-laws of the bride are very much ready to inflict harassments, insults and tortures-both mental and physical.
When more pressure is put on the bride’s parents, their dear daughter has no other option but to commit suicide to avoid more insult and torture at the hands of the members of her husband’s family. We are fighting that this curse of dowry system must be eradicated forth with any cost. Women from every walk of late, literate or illiterate, poor or rich, young or old must unite together and come forward to protect their own honor and interest. A curse which has captured our society cannot be removed expeditiously, however to assist the marginalized and poor girls we are providing such dowry items those are essentially needed like bed, crockery, fan, sewing machine, some marriage clothes, and other likely items.
Computer Literacy for Women & Kids Education
Al-Badar Welfare Organization has achieved another success to establish a well-equipped modern computer institute “Al-Badar Computer Center for women” in the city. It was in pipe line of the organization’s future programs.
It will help the women to avail the opportunities in the suburbs or rural areas and to play an important and reasonable role to support their families.
